Roseanne fic: Only This Fight and Nothing More

Not only did I just get done talking about how I don't write fic anymore, but I didn't think I would ever write fic in this fandom again, because I'm not funny enough to do the regular episodes justice and I find the conceit of the season finale heartbreaking. And yet there's this.

Title: Only This Fight and Nothing More
Author: escritoireazul
Author's Note: This is a transformative work of fiction for the television show Roseanne. Title and summary from 8.24 "Heart & Soul"
Spoilers: 8.24 "Heart & Soul" and the season finale, 9.24 "Into That Good Night Part Two"
Warning: Will possibly make you cry. (Anything more specific gives it away.)

Summary: You made me feel like I was one of those guys shoveling coal on the Titanic. No matter how fast I was shoveling, it just keeps going down. - Dan Conner

[Roseanne fic] truth like fiction, lies like fact

Title: truth like fiction, lies like fact
Author: Carla
Disclaimer: Characters belong to Roseanne, basically.
Rating: 13+
Spoilers: Mostly for the final episode and the conceit within.
Written for: [personal profile] nikitangel, happy birthday. You asked a question and this is one answer, maybe false, maybe true.

Summary: Somewhere between the fact and the fiction, I was trying to get at the heart of it all.
